Week 02/17 Sensory and Fine Motor Development: Clay Art and Painting

This week we worked on fine motor control using the small paint brushes, clay sculpting tools, and our fingers to mold clay.

We practiced colors and shapes creating clay art to take home as gifts.

Children used primary colors to paint their art, naming each color as they used it. They learned about mixing primary colors while painting and discovered how to create secondary colors.

I made a color mixing diagram for them to look at and copy. They were excited to make their own diagram!
